As a result of the spread of the Coronavirus and the uncertainty for the entire period before us, many people want to understand what is happening in the renovations field, whether we are still working and how to act during the execution of the projects.
We will present you with a number of key rules for this time in order to be careful and avoid problems or dangers.
Is your project really necessary?
At this moment, the government has not yet decided and finally explained the exact definition of a necessary renovation concept, any home renovation work is considered necessary for now.
As of March 26, as long as there are no symptoms neither the owner of the apartment nor the employees can continue the renovation work.
In any case, be sure to:
Keep distance (2 meters), home ventilation, and maximum sterility to keep everyone healthy.
Safety procedures during a project:
– There should be as few people in the same room as possible, try to maintain proper distance at all times (2 meters at least)
– All staff must arrive by car and not by public transportation
– If the employee/client shows even a few symptoms of the disease, 14-day isolation should be performed for each person who has been exposed or comes into contact with the person for over 15 minutes.
– During the project everyone in attendance is required to wear gloves and masks.
Please Notice !
If the procedures are not maintained, the project must be re-examined or paused until further notice.
In order to protect yourself legally as well, please check with the contractor again for all details and be sure to sign a contract stating that delays as a result of the coronavirus will not incur an additional cost.
Hope we helped you and don’t forget the most important thing is to keep you and your family safe!
We wish it all circumstances would end up quickly and we could all return to our lives and routine.
